Justin Ellingson’s decision in 2010 to join Globe Life (Family Heritage) was definitely the right one. “My greatest accomplishment with Globe Life has been becoming a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and growing every single year for 12 years in direct sales,” says Justin. Prior to joining the Company, he was a successful sales manager for a publishing company.
“Family Heritage’s amazing products can truly make a difference,” emphasizes Justin. “They take the pressure off financially so individuals can just focus on getting healthy. The most rewarding part of joining Globe Life has been the opportunity to take care of clients when they need it most. In addition, Company promotions are based on effort and the results you achieve; you get paid residuals for work long after you make the sale.”
What advice does he have for someone considering a sales or leadership career with Globe Life? “If I could start over with Family Heritage,” says Justin, “I would focus on recruiting earlier in my career. It’s exciting to see a new Agent realize he or she has the skills and can put in the effort to succeed at a high level. Act; don’t think so much. Trust your gut and make the decision. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes; just learn from them.”
Justin feels strongly his Agency, Transparent Financial, has a lot to offer his community in terms of career opportunities and economic impact. “We offer the ability to have a career where the foundation to be successful is in place and is only limited by your own ability and effort. You will have true leadership with Globe Life. Our Company will show you how to get to where you want to go; you just need to be willing to put in the work.”
Within his community, Justin and those in his Agency are strong supporters of Jack’s Caregivers, an organization that focuses exclusively on the male care giver whose spouse is going through cancer. “So many cancer organizations are women focused; we are proud to support a group that is unique and different,” he says.
Free time for Justin means time with his wife and two sons enjoying family vacations or playing outside. He and his wife also support their local church, where his wife is very involved in the youth ministry. Justin also loves to exercise “to get the blood pumping,” and is a big fan of football and softball.
