Amanda Arndt was a proud member of the United States Navy from 2001 to 2006 and a proud parent to her son, Beau Henry, before joining Family Heritage Life Insurance Company of America (FHL) in 2019. “I was actually a field recruit,” she recalls. “That’s why field recruiting is near and dear to my heart. Plus, the idea of owning my own business and controlling my own success was priceless,” she adds.
Amanda is uniquely qualified for Agency leadership. “I didn’t come to FHL with a college degree, previous sales experience, or personal wealth. I brought a great attitude, heart, kindness, a strong work ethic, and a moral compass second to none,” she states. “I’m intrinsically driven to be the best for myself and my family. When I pursue a goal, it’s with everything I have, whether it’s the military (GO NAVY!), working in the gas and oilfield industry, or being a great wife and mom. I do it to the absolute best of my ability using all my God-given talents”, she continues.
Her attitude has created outstanding success for Amanda. “I achieved #6 Sales Professional after only six months with the Company and was #1 Fast Start Award recipient in 2019. I’ve been included on the ‘Wall of Greats’ for best week and best month in personal sales, was the #3 AB Recruiter in 2019, and #5 in 2021. What’s most rewarding, however, is the knowledge we’re building a legacy for all our families for decades to come,” she adds.
Amanda appreciates the importance of FHL products. “They are the shining light for our clients during their darkest moments battling cancer or dealing with a catastrophic accident. We are the helpers who bring the light. We provide industry leading products at an affordable price our families and communities need,” she emphasizes.
What does Amanda’s Agency offer? “What don’t we offer is a better question,” she maintains. “Our Agency’s mindset and culture is one of growth, which is paramount to this career opportunity. We are one hundred percent in control of our own success, our next raise, and our next promotion. Take a leap of faith; all you have to do is jump. If you believe in yourself, take the chance!” she maintains.
Amanda offers practical advice when you join the FHL team. “Go for it and don’t wait for the invitation! Take on the responsibilities of a leader and run your business like a CEO from day one. At the end of every day, ask yourself, ‘Would I hire or fire myself today?’ It’s a powerful question and makes me do one thing each day that someone else isn’t willing to do. After a week, you’ll be uncommon. After a month, you’ll be exceptional. After a year, you’ll be extraordinary. Put in the work, dedication, and effort. Don’t second guess yourself and have fun. Make a difference and shake as many hands as possible,” she emphasizes.
Amanda spends free time with her husband, Kyle, her son, and her two geriatric dogs, Wyatt Earp and Archer Arndt. She is also a master gardener and loves creating new gardens and exploring their beautiful backyard of North Dakota and Montana. In addition, as a veteran, Amanda unconditionally supports our military and veterans. “It’s time to do a better job taking care of those individuals who put their lives on the line for this magnificent country. God bless the USA,” she states proudly.
