When Skip Smith joined Family Heritage Life Insurance Company of America (FHL) in 2021, he brought with him 17 years of executive sales experience in the insurance industry. “I joined Family Heritage Life because its people, products, and culture are unmatched in this industry,” he recalls. “I wanted to become an Agency leader for the opportunity to serve the community, while developing sales professionals and leaders. Skip is definitely a family man. “Sports are a huge part of my life,” he says. “I’m involved with Little League baseball and softball, and Boys and Girls Club. I follow any team my son or daughter is competing with, which includes football, baseball, softball, and basketball. I also enjoy travel, family vacations, classic cars, and strength and conditioning training.” he says. In addition, Skip is active with Luke’s Wings. This organization provides free air fare to wounded, ill, and injured service men and women to reunite them with family during recovery and rehabilitation.
